There exists some controversy concerning orcs during the Dragonlance. The 1st edition advertisement&D Dragonlance Adventures hardbound rulebook states that orcs don't exist on Krynn, with ogres and minotaurs largely replacing their normal function. Second and third edition Dragonlance dietary supplements also take away orcs from the earth of Krynn.
